Karmara Hawkins, M.Ed., P-LPC, NCC

Self-care is important.

Often, we get caught up in life and forget to exercise mental health self-care. We take care of our bodies and disregard our mental and emotional well-being. Through therapy, you will receive the tools to help you become the best version of you. I am here, as a partner and advocate to help guide you on your healing journey.

About Me

I have a master’s in counseling from Delta State University with an additional certification in community counseling. I am a provisional licensed professional counselor, a national board certified counselor, and a national board certified school counselor. I have experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting. I also have professional work experience in mental health in crisis and inpatient hospitalization. My therapy is based on the needs of the client and much of my work comes from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach.

I do not accept insurance plans and as a P-LPC my services are generally not insurance reimbursable.
