My goal is to empower you to overcome difficulties, build resilience, and achieve a sense of well-being and fulfillment in your life.

My background.

My journey as a counselor began in 2008 when I earned my master’s in counseling psychology. After three years working in community mental health, I decided to go back to school for a doctorate in counselor education. For over a decade, I have had the privilege of serving as a professor at the University of Mississippi, where I have been deeply involved in the education and mentorship of future counselors. This role has not only honed my expertise in counseling but has also allowed me to stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the profession. My most recent trainings include Emotionally Focused Therapy and The Gottman Method (Level 1).
